KingBennett was signed by Durk's Label Only the Family after his collaborations with Durk. When he took on his stage name of King Von in order to create his first music career with his first single "Crazy Story" was released in December 2018. It topped the Billboard Hot 100 at number 81 , and also the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Charts , which was at 32. Also, it received million of YouTube views. Von has also dropped "Crazy Story 2.0", the sequel to the hit track. This new version features Lil Durk and is a version of the song that was originally released. Another sequel or remix, "Crazy Story 3.0," is out in September.
