Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin has been an actress across Canada as well as New Zealand for over a decade. Paquin, born in Winnipeg and was raised by Wellington Paquin's father, was first seen on stage as Flora McGrath. For this role she received an Academy Award of Best Supporting Actress in The romantic drama The Piano at the young age of 11. She was the second youngest recipient in Oscar History. At nine her age, she was a novice or had none experience with acting. When she moved in the United States, she became an adolescent. She portrayed teens in Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (1998), A Walk on the Moon (1998) as well as Almost Famous (2000). She also portrayed the groupie Polexia Aphrodisa.
