Morgan Fairchild is an American actor. The actress was born Patsy McClenny on February 3, 1950. Her fame grew from the end of the 1970s and the early 1980s when she appeared on several television programs, which usually reflected a glamorous look. Fairchild was first noticed as Jennifer Pace in Search for Tomorrow in a CBS daytime soap from 1973 until 1977. In her first role as the actress playing Jenna Wade, she made her TV debut on CBS's daytime soap opera Dallas in the year 1978. In the following year, she landed an important role on her role in the NBC drama Flamingo Road (1980), which won her a Golden Globe Award as Best Actress in a Television Series - for that series. In 1984 she costarred in ABC's short lived show on primetime called Paper Dolls. Between 1985 to 1986, Fairchild was the lawyer Jordan Roberts on Falcon Crest. Fairchild was actively involved in theatre as well as in guest roles for television series such Roseanne, Cybill and Friends as well as Murphy Brown. For the latter she won the Primetime Emmy Award. She is also a member of the board of SAG-AFTRA.
