Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is an British musician and a vocalist. Harry Styles was one of the founding members of One Direction. He was born at Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England 1 February 1994, he is the son Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles went to the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, together with his fellow classmates, created a band band called White Eskimo. White Eskimo won 2009's Battle of Bands thanks to their excellent performance. Even though he's always had an interest in the world of music but despite his enthusiasm in it, he also wanted to be a lawyer or physiotherapist. While working in the city's bakery Harry Styles could afford to provide for his family. Harry Styles, in 2010, auditioned to be on The X Factor. His track Is not She Lovely was performed by Stevie Wonder. This is why his group were forced to split. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles that he be part of a new band, One Direction. The other group members included Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of this group, which began in the year 2010. The group performed hits such as My Life Would Suffer Without You from Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. This made the group one of the contenders for the award. They came third behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles was not the winner. Cowell was a millionaire in a contract for One Direction.
